Lift the fuel tank and
support
it (page
3-4).
Check
the air supply hoses [1]
between
the air
cleaner
housing, PAIR control solenoid
valve
[2],
and
cyllnder
head
covers
for
deterioration,
damage,
or
loose
connections.
Also,
check
that the
hoses
are
not kinked
or
pinched.
lf
the air supply hose show any signs
of
heat
damage,
inspect
the
PAIR check
valves
(page 7-24).
For
secondary
air
supply
system
inspection (page
7-
21).
EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL
SYSTEM (AC, ll AC types)
Remove the following:
-
left under
cowl
(page 2-4)
-
right middle cowt (page 2-6)
Lift the fuet tank and support it (page 3-4).
Check
the
EVAP canister
[1]
for cracks or damage.
Check
the
hoses between
the fuel tank t2l,
EVAP
canister,
EVAP
purge control
solenoid
valve [3],
and
throttle
body
[4] for
deterioration,
damage,
or
loose
connections.
Also,
check that
the
hoses are not kinked
or
pinched.
Refer
to
the
Cable
&
Harness Routing
for
hose
connections
and
routing
(page
1-20).
