6 [Ext. software] for managing and scheduling advanced software
6.1 [Software mng.] for installing, uninstalling, and upgrading function extension software

Specify the [Ext. software] by clicking [Select Files].

Use [Camera selection] to select the cameras where you want to install Extension software.
When Quad/Dual mode is selected, [Camera selection] items are not displayed.

Make sure that [Install new Ext. software] is selected and press [Execute]. [Ext. software] is
installed. When the installation is completed, the name of the function extension software
installed on the [Software mng.] window is added.
Software Management Screen
When the function extension software is installed, the camera-specific data and the registration
status of the function extension software are displayed. The following operations can be performed
on this screen.
・Uninstalling the function extension software
・Display of the detailed registration status screen
・Display of the setting screen of the function extension software
・Update of the function extension software
[Important]
・Check the [Remaining ROM] [Remaining RAM].
If there is insufficient space required to install the function extension software,
uninstall the installed function extension software.
See [Uninstall] for uninstallation.
[Note:]
・[MULTI] [Camera selection] can be selected only for Multi-directional cameras.
[Important]
・Do not use spaces or double-byte characters in the name of the destination
directory.
・Use the specified file (ext file) for Extension software.
・Do not turn off the camera during installation.
・Do not perform any operation during installation until the installation is completed.
・Extension software is installed only on the selected cameras.
・[MULTI] If Image capture mode is switched to Quad/Dual mode or from
Quad/Dual mode to another mode, all Extension software is uninstalled.
Re-install if necessary.
