If the Ink Level Estimator option is being used:
You can check to see which Cartridge is low by using the Current
Ink Level menu. See Chapter 4 of the CADJET 2 User's Guide for
information about this feature. If necessary, replace the Cartridge,
load media, and run the PRIME plot. It may be necessary to run
the PRIME plot several times in order to obtain a satisfactory plot.
See Section 11.8 below for information about evaluating the
PRIME plot. If a satisfactory plot cannot be obtained, refer to
Table Chapter 4 .5 above.
If the Ink Level Estimator feature is not being used:
The black Cartridge has an ink-level indicator on the front of the
Cartridge. If the Cartridge is out of ink, discard the Cartridge and
replace it. If necessary, replace the Cartridge, load media, and
run the PRIME plot. It may be necessary to run the PRIME plot
several times in order to obtain a satisfactory plot.
Section 11.8 below for information about evaluating the PRIME
plot.

The Tri-Color Cartridge does not have the ink-level indicator on
the front of the Cartridge. Therefore, the only option is to replace
the Cartridge, load media, and run the PRIME plot. It may be

evaluating the PRIME plot.
