3. Install the Carriage Height and Tilt Measurement Fixture,
P/N 204278. See Figure Chapter 6 .3.
4. Unlatch the levers on the Carriage to make space for the insertion
of the Linear Gauge.
5. Hold the Linear Gauge by the Cartridge body and insert it into the
space by pressing it down until it makes contact with the bottom of
the Carriage.
6. Holding the Cartridge body in position, push the Cartridge towards
the rear until its vertical wall completely bottoms out with the
Carriage.

Cartridge down while pushing the Cartridge towards the back of
the plotter. Maintain pressure on the Cartridge while you turn the
lever up to firmly position the Cartridge head against the Flex
Cable and lock it inside the Carriage. See Figure Chapter 6 .4
(which shows the procedure for installing a typical Black
Cartridge).
