4. Disconnect the Trailing Cable connector at the JP4 location on the
MPCB.
connector lock and remove the Trailing Cable from the connector.
See Figure Chapter 5 .6 if necessary.
5. Use wire cutters to cut the tie wrap holding the Trailing Cable on
the Carriage PCB. Be careful not to cut the Trailing Cable.
See Figure Chapter 5 .17.
6. Unlock the Trailing Cable connector (J1) on the Carriage PCB,
carefully pull the Trailing Cable away from the double-sided tape,
and remove the Trailing Cable. See Figure Chapter 5 .17.
7. Pull the Trailing Cable away from the double-sided tape on the
Stabilizer Bracket. Remove the Trailing Cable from the plotter
unit.
