Service Station Maintenance
Ink and dust accumulation on the Service Station may affect the print
quality. To clean the Service Station:
1. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Raise the Top Cover.
3. Carefully move the Carriage Assembly to the center of the Slide
Shaft.
4. Dampen a cotton swab with warm water and wipe the seals and
the rubber wiper to completely remove ink residue and dust
accumulation. Also clean all the excess ink out of the reservoirs
and out of the bottom of the Service Station.
5. Remove all moisture from the seals and the wiper with a dry swab.
6. Reconnect the power cord.
