Keypad Messages

The Keypad and LCD display messages will be of considerable help in
determining the status of the plotter and possible corrective action
when operation does not appear to be normal. See Sections 5.0 and
6.0 to understand how the keys function.

This indicates that the user has attempted to make a
change to the plotter parameters after the plot data
has been received. Plotting parameters must be set
prior to the data transmission. When you set each of
the parameters, be sure to press SELECT to save the
settings.
With Roll-Feed enabled, the plotter waits a specified
amount of time before cutting the media and allowing
the plot to fall. If cut sheet media is being used, there
will be no plotter action after the dry-time elapses.
The user may release the media at any time.
Data has been received, but no media has been
loaded. Load media for plotting.
The I/O buffer has overflowed. The plot being sent
will probably not be complete.
should be reset. If this does not resolve the problem,
increase the buffer memory by upgrading the SIMMS
module to a larger size (maximum of 64MB). Refer to
the CADJET 2 User's Guide for the acceptable sizes,
manufacturers, and installation procedures.
