Encoder Strip Maintenance
Clean the Encoder Strip only as necessary to remove any buildup of
debris. Isopropyl alcohol may be used. You may notice that it tends to
fog the Encoder Strip; however, no detrimental effect has been
observed as of the publication date of this manual.
Encoder Strip, use a Q-Tip which has been slightly dampened with
isopropyl alcohol and wipe along the length of the Encoder Strip on
both sides of the Encoder Strip.
