Introduction

This manual provides service information for the ENCAD
CADJET™ 2 Color Inkjet Plotter. This manual is written for service
personnel who are experienced in analog and digital circuitry.
Chapter 2, the Theory of Operation, should be read and thoroughly
understood before attempting to troubleshoot or calibrate the plotter.
The CADJET 2 supports both pre-cut and roll media, automatically
determining the media size and setting the hardclip limits accordingly.
The CADJET 2 uses both a serial interface and the Centronics parallel
interface. It understands commands sent from the host computer in
several forms, including HP-GL*, HP-GL/2*, and HP-RTL.
