Filling the ink reservoirs
The printer can support long, uninterrupted printing runs because of the large
capacity of each of the four ink reservoirs. The ink reservoirs are located on the
left side of the printer.
Note: Refill reservoirs when the ink level is approximately 50ml or 1/4 inch from
the bottom. Allowing ink levels to drop lower increases the risk of getting air in
the ink lines and losing pressure.
Be sure to use the same ink type in all the reservoirs and ink cartridges.
To fill the ink reservoirs

Open the reservoir door.

Push the button on the valve to release the
reservoir. Slide the reservoir forward.

Unscrew and remove the cap of one
reservoir. Open only one reservoir at a
time to prevent contamination with other
ink colors.

Make sure the ink color matches the
reservoir and pour in the ink.
