Tri-Color Cartridge Failure Test Procedure

Using a DVM, verify the resistance between the following points on the
suspect Cartridge:
Pin 80
to
65 thru 70, 74 thru 76, 81 thru 84
Pin 64
to
61, 71 thru 73, 77 thru 79, 85 thru 88 (not Pins 62 & 63)
Pin 60
to
38 thru 41, 51 thru 57 (not Pins 58 & 59)
Pin 33
to
34 thru 37, 42 thru 50
If the resistance measured is 0 OHM or OPEN, the Cartridge jet
resistor is defective and the Cartridge must be replaced. An incorrect
resistance reading will affect print quality. The Cartridge should be
replaced.

This test procedure is for the Tri-Color Cartridge Flex only.
If you need to test the Black Cartridge, see Section 11.10
below.
Do NOT touch the Cartridge Flex with your fingers. Oils on
the skin can damage the circuit.
