To apply alarm profiles to a port for optical cards:
Step 4
Click the port row under the Profile column.

b. Choose the new profile from the Force all ports to profile drop-down menu.
c. Click Apply.
Step 5 To change alarm profiles for DS-1 and DS-3 ports, double-click the XTC card at the node (default login)
view.
Step 6 Click the Provisioning > DS1 > Alarm Behavior tabs to change alarm profiles for DS-1 ports, or click
the Provisioning > DS3 > Alarm Behavior tabs to change alarm profiles for DS-3 ports
