4. SYMPTOM CHART
Symptom
1 The security system cannot be set.
2 The security system can be set
but the security indicator or
hazard light does not flash.
3 When one of the doors, trunk lid or rear gate is
opened, the security system alarm does not
sound.
4 The security alarm does not
operate.
5 The security system cannot be
cancelled.
Security System
Repair order
1. Check the transmitter func-
tion.
2. Check the fuse.
3. Check the keyless entry con-
trol module power supply and
ground circuit.
4. Check the door switch.
5. Replace the keyless entry
control module.
