Parameters
ipv6-address: Specifies a source IPv6 address for the MLD reports sent by the MLD Snooping proxy,
which can be any legal IPv6 link-local address.
current-interface: Specifies the IPv6 link-local address of the current VLAN interface as the source
address of MLD reports sent by the MLD Snooping proxy. If no IPv6 address has been assigned to the
current interface, the default IPv6 address FE80::02FF:FFFF:FE00:0001 is used.
Description
Use the mld-snooping report source-ip command to configure the source IPv6 address of the MLD
reports sent by the MLD Snooping proxy.
Use the undo mld-snooping report source-ip command to restore the default.
By default, the source IPv6 address of the MLD reports sent by the MLD Snooping proxy is
FE80::02FF:FFFF:FE00:0001.
Note that:
Before configuring this command in a VLAN, enable MLD Snooping in the VLAN.
The source IPv6 address configured in the mld-snooping report source-ip command also
applies when the simulated host sends MLD reports.
