Description
Use the command-alias mapping command to configure command aliases.
Use the undo command-alias mapping command to delete command aliases.
By default, a command has no alias.
When configuring a command alias, the cmdkey argument must be a complete keyword; otherwise,
the system prompts for incomplete keyword or nonexistent keyword, and the operation will fail.
At present, the device supports up to 20 command aliases. In addition, different commands must
be configured with different aliases.
Examples
# Enable the command alias function on the switch and configure command aliases by specifying show
as the replacement of the display keyword.
<Switch> system-view
[Switch] command-alias enable
[Switch] command-alias mapping display show
After the above configuration, the display commands have their aliases, and their original forms are still
effective. For example, if the original command is display clock, now its alias is show clock and you
can input either the alias or the original form display clock to view the system time and date.
