Tools...\Licence Keys
A licence key can be used to activate application programs and protected options and can
be used to define the expiry date of the software maintenance. Refer to "31.4 STATUS:
System Information" to find out how to check the expiry date of the software maintenance.
A licence key is required for:
Application programs
• COGO Area Division
• DTM Stakeout
• Reference Plane
• Reference Line
• RoadRunner
• Survey Cross Section
• Volume Calculations
A licence key file can be uploaded to the receiver/RX1250. To upload a licence key file the
file should be located on the \SYSTEM directory of the CompactFlash card. Licence key files
use the naming convention L_123456.key, where 123456 is the instrument serial number.
Licence keys can also be typed in manually in Main Menu: Tools...\Licence Keys or the
first time the application program is started.
