14. Restore gas pressures and leak test the fittings.

Replacing the detector interface board

The NPD detector has an interface board on the main board.
WARNING
Before proceeding, turn off the detector and any detector gases at their
supply. Then turn off the main power switch and unplug the power cord.
Caution
Make sure you are properly grounded with an ESD strap before continuing.
1.
Remove the right side cover and the top electronics cover.
2.
Unlock and unclip the electrometer ribbon cable from the NPD interface
board.
3.
Disconnect the bead drive cable from the board.
