10. Full-Color 16-Gradation (YMCBk) Test Pint (PG>TYPE=14)
Use a full-color 16-gradation (YMCBk) test print to check gray balance, gradation of each
color (Y, M, C, Bk) and fogging.
a. Gray Balance
Look at the gray scale area to find out whether each color is generated in even density.
b. Gradation
Check the gradation of each color (Y, M, C, Bk) and for difference in density.
c. Fogging
If a white area is foggy, suspect a fault in the developing system or the photosensitive drum, or
wrong adjustment of the laser.
