Switching between the Full Color Mode and Black
Monochrome Mode
This machine has the ACS function to automatically recognize whether the original is in
color or black and white.
■ ACS (Automatic Color Selection) function
This function automatically recognizes whether an original is in color or black and white.
When making copies of a color original, the machine will automatically make copies in the
Full Color mode. When making copies of a black-and-white original, the machine will auto-
matically make copies in the Black Monochrome mode.
While the ACS function is ON, the
function is set OFF. ACS function ON is the standard copy setting.
MEMO:
When the original contains color, the Full Color mode is selected automatically. However, if the color portion
is very small, or if the color is faint or appears almost black, the Black Monochrome mode may be selected.

■ Making copies of originals containing color in black and white
