1 Is the separation charging assembly
operating normally?
2 Is the separation claw solenoid
(SL4) operating normally?
3 Is the separation claw worn or
deformed?
4 Is the separation push-up solenoid
(SL3) operating normally?
5 Is the separation push-up roller
worn or deformed?
6 Is the separation sensor (PS7)
operating normally?
7 Is the postcard feeding unit
operating normally?

NO Check the separation
charging assembly.
NO Check the solenoid.
YES 1. Replace the
separation claw.
2. If dirt is found, clean
it with solvent.
NO Check the solenoid.
YES Replace the separation
push-up roller.
NO Check the sensor lever
and wiring; if normal,
replace the sensor.
NO Check the postcard
feeding unit and the
postcard feeding clutch
(CL18).
Check the fixing motor
(M5).
YES If foreign matter is
found on the paper guide
plate, remove it; if
deformation is found,
correct it.
