6. Position of the Cassette Pickup
Assembly and Pickup Roller
Solenoid (SL7, SL8, SL9)
The position of the solenoid need not be
adjusted. Mount it where the solenoid was
initially found. (If you have to remove the
solenoid, be sure to mark its position with a
scriber in advance.)
7. Adjusting the Left/Right
Registration of the Cassette
1) Remove the cassette that needs to be
adjusted.
2) Loosen the screw [1].
3) Turn the adjusting screw [2], and adjust
the position of the left/right registration
adjusting plate so that the left/right
registration is 2.0 ±1.5 mm with reference
to the image. (A full turn will be about 0.7
mm.)
· To increase the registration at the front,
turn the adjusting screw
counterclockwise.
· To increase the registration at the rear,
turn the adjusting screw clockwise.
4) After the above adjustment, be sure to
perform the steps under "Registering the
Paper Width Basic Value."
