Install shift shaft assembly.
NOTE: Marks on shift drum/isolating washer and
shift shaft must align.

Install shift fork then engage both shift fork pins
in their corresponding groove on the shift drum.
NOTE: Move sliding gears to facilitate engage-
ment of pins inside grooves.

Install shift fork shaft.
NOTE: Run all gears as a final function check be-
fore installing center housing.
Now, close the housings by doing the following:
Clean all metal components in a solvent.
