Inspect and replace as necessary the following
items if their contact surfaces are heavy worn:
– Centrifugal lever
– Thrust washers
– Centrifugal lever pivot bolts
– Lock nuts.

WARNING
Whenever replacing centrifugal levers, al-
ways replace all levers as a set. Otherwise,
drive pulley unbalance will occur.
Sliding Sheave
Check sliding sheave for cracks and sliding con-
tact surface for excessive wear. Replace sliding
sheave if necessary.
Measure centrifugal lever pivot bolt bores. Re-
place sliding sheave if bores are out of specifica-
tion or otherwise damaged.
