2.16.3 Erasing Common Variables

Operation method (Erasing the variable value for variable number 102 to 104)
(1)
Press the menu [Variabl clear] .
Input the No. (range) of the variable to be erased.
(2)
102/104 [INPUT]
To erase only one variable, input one variable No.
(102 [INPUT])
(3)
Press the [Y] key.
Operation method (Erasing the variable name for variable No. 509)
(1)
Press the menu [Name clear] .
Select the variable , and press the [INPUT] key
(2)
509 [INPUT]
(3)
Press the [Y] key.
Precautions regarding erasing the variable value and variable name
The variable at the cursor position will become the target of the erasing if the [INPUT] key is pressed without designating
a variable No.

2.16.4 Switching the Display Area

Methods to switch the display areas are as follows.
(1) Use the menu [Variabl No.]. (Refer to "2.17.1 Setting Common Variables".)
(2) Use the page changeover key.
- If you press the next page key during displaying the last page of the area, the first page of the next area will be
displayed.
- If you press the previous page key during displaying the first page of the area, the last page of the previous area
will be displayed.
(Example) If you press the next page key during displaying the last page of the common variable common variable
2 (#100 -), the first page of the common variables common variable 1 (#500 -) will be displayed.
(3) Use a cursor key
- When a cursor key is placed at the biggest variable No. in the area, the first page in the next area will be displayed
by pressing [ ↓ ] or [ → |].
- When a cursor key is placed at the first variable No. in the area, the biggest variable No. in the previous area will
be displayed at the top by pressing [ ↑ ] or [| ← ].
(4) Use a scroll bar
- The first page of the next area will be displayed by pressing ▼ , while the last page of the area is displayed.
- The biggest variable No. in the previous area will be displayed at the head by pressing ▲ , while the first page is
displayed.
Variable numbers cannot be displayed continuously if another display area is inserted in between.

A message confirming the erasing appears.
The background color of the erase range (variable value)
changes to light blue.
The selected variable is erased.
The menu is highlighted.
A message confirming the erasing appears.
The background color of the erase range (variable name)
changes to light blue.
The variable name for 509 only is erased.
The variable value is not erased.
