Reboot the router

You can reboot the router immediately or at a scheduled time.
The router performs a reboot after any FLASH write operations are completed. There is an allowance
of one second each for the following operations to be completed before reboot will occur:
Create and send IPSec SA delete notifications are created and sent

Close TCP sockets

Disconnect PPP interfaces

To schedule reboots on a recurring basis, use Digi Remote Manager's device tasks feature and
its schedule options. See the

1. Go to Administration > Reboot.
2. Enter the reboot options:
Immediately
Causes the router to reboot after a few seconds. The router cleanly terminates any TCP and
VPN connections before rebooting.

Schedules a reboot to occur after the configured period of time. To cancel a scheduled reboot,
enter the reboot cancel command from the command line.
3. Click Reboot to reboot the router or set the scheduled reboot to occur.
