CALL command: Make an X.25 call
The full structure of a CALL command is:
CALL [ <f aci l i t i es- >] <addr ess>[ D<user dat a>]
where:
<facilities-> is an optional list of codes indicating the facilities to be requested in the call
n
(separated by commas, terminated with a dash)
<address> is the destination network address.
n
<user data> is any optional user data to be included with the call.
n
The facility codes supported are:
F: Fast select-no restriction
n
Q: Fast select-restricted response
n
Gnn: Closed User Group
n
Gnnnn: Extended Closed User Group
n
R: Reverse charging
n
N<NUI>:Network User Identity code (NUI)
n
Example
The following command places a call to address 56512120 using reverse charging and specifying
Closed User Group 12. The string MYNUI is your Network User Identity. The string Hello appears in

Make an X.25 call.
Clear an X.25 call.
Invitation to CLR.
List X.3 parameters of specified PAD instance.
Load or save specified PAD profile.
Set X.3 parameters of specified PAD instance.
Send Interrupt packet.
Log off and disconnect.
List local X.3 parameters.
Load or save PAD profile.
Send reset packet.
List remote X.3 parameters.
Set remote X.3 parameters.
Set local X.3 parameters.
Display channel status.
