Configuring network interfaces
retrans_time: (0-2147483647)
The advertised "retransmit" time (in milliseconds) in RA messages.
hop_limit: (0-255, default value: 64)
The advertised hop limit in RA messages.
default_lifetime: (0-9000, default value: 1800)
The advertised default lifetime (in seconds) in RA messages.
"ipv6ippolicy" command
The ipv6ippolicy command displays and modifies the IPv6 source IP address policy table as described
in RFC6724. This table is interrogated when selecting the source IP address to use on outgoing
packets generated by the device. It would be a bit unusual to use anything but the default values.
"ipv6ippolicy print":
Prints the current policy table.
Other ipv6ippolicy parameters include
prefix (IPv6 prefix, default depends on instance)
Destination IPv6 addresses are matched against the prefixes to find the entry with matching label.
label:
The label associated with the prefix configured into the same instance.
"dhcpv6_client" command
dhcpv6_client status
Shows the status of the DHCPv6 clients.
dhcpv6_client solicit|renew|release <entity> <instance>
Instructs the DHCPv6 client to perform the requested action.
"dhcpv6_server" command
dhcpv6_server status
Shows the status of the DHCPv6 servers.
"ndp" command
Shows the Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP) cache.
ndp - a <ent i t y> <i nst ance>
If the entity and instance are omitted, shows NDP caches for all interfaces.
ndp -d <entity> <instance> -
Deletes the NDP cache. If the entity and instance are omitted, deletes NDP caches for all interfaces.
