Observe the following precautions when making settings for the SERVOPACK.

Precautions When Setting Circuit Numbers
When you assign circuit numbers to the Motion Control and Communications Function Mod-
ules, you must assign numbers within the following ranges.

Precautions When Setting Module Configuration Defini-
tions
Observe the following precautions when you write module configuration definitions.
• Write the module configuration definitions only when the high-speed scan has sufficient
unused processing time.
Otherwise, processing may exceed the time limit of the high-speed scan.
• Before writing module configuration definitions, make sure the machine is not in operation.
• Before you use the SERVOPACK, save any written data to flash memory and turn the power
supply to the Racks OFF and ON again.
