1. Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
Or, run:
controller cpos cpos-number
The working or protection interface view is displayed.
3. Run:
aps timers keep-alive-time hold-time
The interval at which E-APS negotiation messages are sent and the hold time of the
APS connection between the working and protection interfaces are set.
– keep-alive-time: is the interval at which APS negotiation messages are sent by the
local end. The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 60, in seconds.
– hold-time: is the hold time of an APS connection. The value is an integer ranging
from 3 to 300, in seconds. The hold time of the APS connection must be greater
than or equal to the value three times the interval at which APS negotiation
messages are sent.
Configure the authentication string for PGP messages.
1. Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
or
controller cpos cpos-number
The working or protection interface view is displayed.
3. Run:
aps authenticate { simple-key
The authentication string is configured for PGP messages.
NOTICE
The working or protection interface must be specified before an authentication string
is configured for the PGP message.
PGP negotiation can only be performed successfully when the authentication strings
configured on both working and protection interfaces are the same.
