Step 6 Verify the configuration.
Run the shutdown command on GE 1/0/0 of Router C to simulate a link fault. Wait 20 seconds
and run the display vrrp command on Router A. The VRRP status of Router B is Master and
that of Router A is Backup. This means that a master/backup VRRP switchover has been
performed.

Run the undo shutdown command on GE 1/0/0 of Router C. Wait 20 seconds after GE 1/0/0
goes Up, and run the display vrrp command on Router A to view the VRRP status. The VRRP
status of Router A is Master.
