Configuration Guide - Reliability
4.7 Configuring a Unicast VRRP Backup Group
This section describes how to configure a unicast VRRP backup group to implement the master/
backup status negotiation between two devices on a Layer 3 network.
4.8 Configuring Basic Functions of a VRRP IPv6 Backup Group
This section describes how to create a VRRP IPv6 backup group, configure basic VRRP IPv6
functions, implement the master/backup IPv6 mode, and optimize VRRP IPv6 backup group
parameters.
4.9 Configuring an mVRRP IPv6 Backup Group
When multiple VRRP IPv6 backup groups coexist, they can be bound to an mVRRP IPv6 backup
group, decreasing VRRP Advertisement packets to be sent and minimizing network bandwidth
consumption. The mVRRP IPv6 backup group determines the active and standby links
connected to a dual-homing network.
4.10 Configuring VRRP IPv6 Association
VRRP IPv6 association helps a VRRP IPv6 backup group rapidly perform a master/backup
VRRP switchover if a network link fails. This ensures proper service data forwarding.
4.11 Maintaining VRRP
This section describes how to maintain VRRP by deleting VRRP statistics, and monitoring
VRRP operations.
4.12 Configuration Examples
This section provides VRRP configuration examples. Each configuration example includes
networking requirements, configuration roadmap, data preparation, configuration procedure,
and configuration files.
