The
command specifies the acceleration to be used during joystick mode.

The joystick acceleration remains set until you change it with a subsequent joystick acceleration command.
Accelerations outside the valid range are flagged as an error, with a message
where x is the field number. When an invalid acceleration is entered the previous acceleration value is
retained.
If the joystick deceleration (

command will also set the joystick deceleration rate. Once the joystick deceleration (

command allows you to specify the average acceleration for an S-curve joystick profile. S-
JOYAA
curve profiling provides smoother motion control by reducing the rate of change in acceleration and
deceleration; this accel/decel rate of change is known as jerk. Refer to page
profiling.
