bolts
from
the
rear
fender.

Open and support the front end of
fuel
tank
(page
3-4).
Disconnect the
fuel
pum p/reserve sensor 3P
connecto r.
Use
this procedu re
for
the ignitio n
pulse gene
rato r
and
cam
pulse generato r
inspection.
Check all system connections before
inspection.
If
the system is discon
nected. incorrect
peak voltage
mig
ht
be measu
red
.
Check cylinder
comp
ression
and
check
that
all
the
spark
plugs
are installed
correctly.
Use
the recommended digital multimeter or corn
-
merc
ially available
digital multi meter with an
im
pedanc e
of
10
M jDCV
mi
nimum
.
If th

ester (mode

625) is
used,
follow
the
manufactu rer's instruction
.
The
display value
differs
depending
upon the inter-
nal im pedance of the

eter.
