Install the
piston/connecting
rod assembly with
the piston NIN:
mark facing to the
intake side .
Make sure the
rmg compressor
tool sits flush with
the top surface of
the c ylinder.

NOTICE
I
While insta /ling the pisto n, be careful not to damage
the top surface of the cy li nder; especially around
the cylinder bore.
Be careful not
to
damage the cylinder sleeve and
crankpin with the connecting rod bolt th reads.
Use the ha ndl e of a plastic hammer to t ap the pist on
into the cylinde r.
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the crankpin bear-
in g surfa ces.
Install the bearing cap .
Insu re t hat t he marks on t he caps are al igned w ith the
marks on the connecting rods.
App ly oil
to the co nnecting
rod nut threads and
seat-
ing surfaces.
Insta ll t he co nnect ing rod nuts and tig hten t he nut s
gradua lly and alternat ely. the n tig ht en th em to t he
spe cifi ed t or qu e.
TORQUE: 34 N'm (3.5 kgl.m, 25 Ibl oft )
