CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Install the outer clutch disc colored "Green" in the
shallow slot on the clutch oute r.
Install the clutch lifter piece.
Install th e pressure plate.
Install the clutch springs and spring bolt s.
Tighten th e bolts in a crisscross patte rn in 2 - 3 steps,
t hen tig hten t he bo lts to th e specified torque.
TORQUE: 12 Nom (1.2 kqf-rn, 9 Ibfoftl
Install the right crankcase cove r (page 9-14).
GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
GEARSHIFT LINKAGE REMOVAL
Remove the fo llowing:
- Right crankcase cove r (page 9-3 )
- Clutch assemb ly (page 9-4)
Remove th e bo lt and gearshift peda l link.
Pull th e gea rshift spindle assembly and th rust was he r
out of the crankcase.
