Install the shi m s
properly as noted
during removal.
When installing
the cover; take
care to prevent
dam aging the oil
sea/lip with
the shaft.
Install the shims
property as noted
during removal.

Install the armature in the motor case .
Wh en installi ng the armature in to the motor case,
hold the armature tig ht ly to keep the magnet of the
case from pulling the armature agai nst it.

NOTICE
I
The coil may be damaged if the magnet pulls the
armature against the case.
Install the same num ber of sh im s in the same location
as noted during disassembly.
Inst all a new seal ring onto the m ot o r case.
A pply a th in coat of grease t o the armat ure shaft end .
Inst all the rear cover, whi le pushing in t he br ushes
into the brush holder and aligning the brush holder
ta b with t he moto r case groove .
Inst all the shims an d insulat ed washe r o nto th e ar rna -
t ure sha ft .
Inst al l a new seal ring onto t he motor case.
A pp ly g rease to the oil seal lip and needl e bearing in
the fr ont cover.
Install the lock wa sher o nto the fro nt cover.
Inst all t he front cover.
