CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Inst all the new lock nu t .
TORQUE: 128 N·m (13.1 kqf-rn, 95 Ibl·ltl
Ho ld the cl ut ch cente r w ith the clutch cen ter holder,
then tighten the lock nu t to t he spe cif ied torque.

Clutch center holder
Be careful not to
damage the main-
shaft threads.
Stake lock nut into the m ain shaft groove w ith a
punch.
Ap ply engine oi l and inst all the sp ring seat and
jud der spring .

Stack the cl utch discs and plates alternately.
