LIGHTS/METERS /SWITCHES
If the value is 0 V, perform the following :
Disconnect the combination meter 9P (Black)
connector (page 19-8).
Disconn ect the ECM 22P (Black) connector
(page 17-11).
Check for conti nuity between the combination meter
9P (Black) connectors terminal and the ECM mu lti-
connecto r Yellow/green te rminals.
If there is no continuity , check the wire harness and
combination meter sub-harness for an open circuit.
If there is continu ity, replace the ECM .
SPEEDOMETER/SPEED SENSOR
SYSTEM INSPECTION
Rem ove the left side cover (page 2-2)
Disconnect the speed sensor 3P connector and check
for loose or poo r contact of the connecter.
With the ignition switch is ON and measure the volt-
age at the speed sensor 3P connnector of the wi re
harness side.
CONNECTION:
Black/brown 1+) - Green/black

Sta ndard: Battery voltge
Rem ov e the headlight unit (page 19-5).
Check fo r loose or poor contact of th e comb ination 9P
con necte rs.
