BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH
FRONT
Discon nect t he front brake lig ht switc h con necto rs
and check fo r co nt inu ity betw een t he te rm inals.
The re shou ld be co nt inu ity w it h th e br ake lever
appl ied, and th er e sho uld be no co nti nuity w he n t he
brake lever is released.
REAR
Remove t he seat (page 2-2).
Disconnect t he rear brake ligh t switc h co nnector and
check for cont inuity betwee n t he t ermin als.
Th er e sho uld b e con t inu ity w it h th e bra ke peda l
appl ied, and th er e shou ld be no co nti nuity w hen th e
brake peda l is released .
CLUTCH SWITCH
Disconnect t he c lutch switch co nnectors.
Th ere sho uld be co nti nuity w it h th e clu tch lever
ap plied, and th er e shou ld be n o co nt inui ty w he n the
d utch lev er is rel eased.
NEUTRAL SWITCH
Disco nnect th e neut ral switc h co nnecto r from the
switch.
Sh ift th e t ran smi ssi on into neut ral and chec k fo r co n-
t inuity between the Ligh t g ree n w ire te rm inal and
gro und.
T he re sho uld b e co nt inuity w he n t he tra nsm issio n is
in neut ral, and n o co nt inuity w he n th e t rans m issio n is
in gear.
