LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES
Connect the side stand sw itc h 2P (Green) connector.
Inst all the side cove r (page 2-2).
HORN
Disconn ect the wi re con nectors fro m th e horn .
Conn ect t he 12V battery to th e ho rn termin al directly.
Th e ho rn is no rm al if it so unds w hen th e 12 V batte ry
is connecte d across the ho rn term ina ls.
TURN SIGNAL RELAY
INSPECTION
Check t he fo llow ing:
- Batte ry co ndi t io n
- Burn ed out bu lb or non-specified w attage
- Burn ed fuse
- Ig nition switch and tu rn signal switch function
- Loose connectors

If the above items are all norma l, check the fo llowing:
Light does not co me on

Bro ken wire harn ess
Rem ove t he rear cowl (page 2-3).
Disco nnect the tu rn sig nal con nectors fro m the relay.

No contin uity

Bro ken wi re harness
Short the White/green and Gray t erm inals of th e turn
signa l rel ay connecto r w it h a jumper w ire.
St art the eng ine and chec k the turn signal light by
turn ing th e switc h ON .
Light tom es on

Check for continuity bet w een t he Green terminal of
th e relay co nnecto r and g roun d.

Faulty turn signal relay.
Poor co nnection of t he connecto r.
