ing sliding surfaces o n th e bearing caps.
Install the bearing caps
by
a ligning the I.D. code on
t he connecting rod and bearing cap.
Be sure each part is in stalled in it s origina l position. as
no te d d uring rem ov al.
A p p ly oi l t o t he bea ri ng cap n ut thread s and sea t ing
surfaces and insta ll th e cap nuts.
Tig ht en th e nu t in 2 o r 3 steps and torque them.
TORQUE: 34 N'm (3.5 kqf-m , 25 Ibf·ftl
