MAINTENANCE
Fill the crankcase with recommended engine oil.
TORQUE: 26 Nen (2.7 kqf-rn, 20 lbf-ft}
Apply
clean engine oil to the new oil filter O-ring.

OIL CAPACITY :
3.5 liter (3.7 US qt, 3.1 Imp qtl after draining
3.6 lit er (3.8 US qt, 3.2 Imp qtl after draining/lilter
change
Install the new oil filter and tighten
it
to the
specified torque .
TOOL:
Oil filter wrench
Install the oil liller cap.
Start the engine and let it idle for 2 to 3 minutes.
Stop the engine and recheck the oil level.
Make sure there are no oil leaks.
ENGINE IDLE SPEED
Open and support the front end 01fuel tank (page 3-41 .
Inspect and adjust the idle speed after all othe r
engine maintenance items have been performed
and are within specifications.
The engine must be warm for accurate idle speed
inspection and adjustment.
Warm up the engine for about ten minutes.
Turn the throttle stop screw as required to obtain the
specified idle speed .
IDLE SPEED: 1.200 e 100 min-' (rpm)
RADIATOR COOLANT
Check the coolant level of the reserve tank with the
engine running at normal operating temperature .
The level should be between the ··UPPER" and
"LOWER " level lines.
