Pou r out the fork flu id by pumping t he fo rk tub e sev -
eral times.
If
the fork damper
turns together
with the socket
bolt, temporarily
install the fork
spring, spring
sear. onto col/ar
and fork bolt.
Hol d the caliper bracket in a vice w ith soft jaws or a
shop towe l.
Remove the fo rk damper socket bolt and seal ing
wa she r.
Rem ove th e d ust seal.
Do not scra tch Rem ove the o il seal sto pper ring.
