IGNITION SYSTEM
Insta ll the righ t crankcase cove r.
Insta ll an d tighten the ig nitio n pulse generator cover
bolts to spec ified torque.
TORQUE: 10 N'm (1.0 kg!·m. 7 Ibfoltl
Route t he ignition pulse generator wire properly, co n-
nect the 2P (Red ) connector.
Install th e rem ov ed parts in th e reverse order of
removal.
IGNITION TIM ING
Wa rm up the eng ine.
Sto p th e engine and rem ove th e tim ing hole cap.
Read the instruc-
Connect t he t iming light t o t he No .2 spark pl ug wi re.
