to remove the
stator coil to
make this test.
ALTERNATOR CHARGI NG COIL
INSPECTIO N
Remove the left side cowl (page 2·4 ).
Disconnect the alternator 3P connector.
Check the res ista nce between all t hree Yellow
te rminals .
STANDARD: 0.1 - 1.0 n lat 20"e/6S "F)
Check fo r continuity between all three Yellow
term ina ls and Ground .
There should be no co nti nuity.
If read ings are fa r beyond the standard, or
if
any wire
has con ti nuit y to ground, repl ace t he alte rnato r stator.
Ref er t o sect io n 10 f or stat o r remova l.
