REMOVAL
Ma rk the bearin g caps and bearings as you rem ov e
the m to indicate th e co rr ect cyli nder for re assembly.
Rem o v e t he co nnecti ng ro d bea ring cap nuts and
bearing ca ps .
Tap the side of the cap lightly if the bea ring cap is
hard to rem ov e.
Rem ove the crankshaft.
Rem o v e the main journal bearings from both the
crankcases.
