ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
- cra nk pu lse gen e rator 2P conn ector
- regul ator/re ctifi er 3P/4P co nnecto r
- speed senso r 3P con nector
- o il pressure/n eu tral switch 2P co nnec tor
- side stand switch 2P co nnector
Install t he ig nitio n coi l ca ps.
Connect th e PA IR air supply ho ses to the reed
valve covers.
Pour recomm ende d eng ine oil up to the proper level
(page
3-12 ).
Fill the cooling system with recommended coolant
and bleed th e air (page 6-4).
DRIVE SPROCKET INSTALLATION
Install the d riv e cha in on to th e sprocket .
Install th e dri ve sprocket to th e counte r shaft w it h th e
pun ch mark facing out and alig n the te eth of th e drive
sprocke t an d counter shaft .
Install th e the wa sher and ti g ht en t he spec ial bol t to
t he specified to rq ue.
TORQUE: 54 N·m (5.5 k qf-m, 40 Ibf·ft)
