CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Install the dowel pin onto the shift drum.
Install the gearshift cam whi le holding the stopper
arm using a screwdriver as shown.
Apply
a
locking agent to the gearshift cam socket
bolt t hreads .
Install an d ti ghten th e socket bolt to th e
specified to rqu e.
TORQUE: 23 N'm (2.3 kgf.m, 17 Ibfoftl
Install th e thru st washer and gea rshift spind le assem -
bly into th e crankcase whil e alig ning th e spring ends
with the crankcase stoppe r pin .
Install the t hrust was her and gea rshift spind le assem -
bly into th e crankcase w hile a lig ning the spring ends
w ith the crankcase stopper pin .
Inst all th e gearshift peda l link alig ning it s sl it w it h th e
pun ch mark on the gea rshift spindle.
Install and tig hten th e pinch bo lt to the speci fied
torque.
TORQUE : 20 N'm (2.0 kgf'm, 14 Ibfoft )
Install the clutch assembly (page 9-9).
