LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES
Connect t he ECT/th er m o sensor co nnector.
Fill the system and bl eed t he air (page 6-4).
OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
INSPECTION
If t he o il pr essure warning indicator stays o n whi le the
engine is runnin g, che ck the eng ine oil level bef or e
in spect ion.
Make su re th at th e oil pressure wa rning indicator
come on with the ignit ion switch ON.
OIL PRESSURE WAR NING IND ICATOR
If t he indicator does not come on, inspect as follows.
Rem ove the du st cove r.
Rem ove the bol t and oil pre ssure sw itc h termin al.

OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
Sh ort the oi l pressure switc h wi re te rminal t o ground
using a jum per w ire .
The oil pressure warning indicator comes on wh en
the ignition swit ch is ON .
If t he li ght does no t comes on, ch eck the sub-fu se
(lOA).
