When th e reading shows oth er than 5 V, derive a vo ltag e at th e test harness as fo llows:
In the case of a vo lta ge of 4.75 V at the TP sensor 3P connector:
0.4 X 4.7515.0
=
0.38 V
0.6 X 4.75/5.0
=
0.57 V
Thus, the solutio n is "0.38 - 0.57 V" w it h t he throttle fully closed.
Replace 0.4 and 0.6 w it h 4.2 and 4.8 respectively, in the above eq uations t o determine t he t hrottle fu lly open range .
